Sarthak Foundation has a robust, multi-layered Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) system to track both the outputs and outcomes of all program activities across all Yellow Rooms, Yellow SLATEs, and RTI Sarthak Gurukul.

Measurement Framework

Output Measurement (Activity-Level): Tracks what was delivered — sessions, workshops, enrolments, distributions, etc.

Outcome Measurement (Change-Level): Tracks what changed in children — learning levels, social-emotional physical and ethical wellbeing, attendance, enrolment, readiness, and academic progress.

Tools & Frequency

  • Daily: Lesson plan sheets, coordinator workplans, SEPEt session tracking
  • Monthly: SEPEt activity sheets, nutritional element distribution, internal reviews
  • Quarterly: Educator trainings, training calendars, uniform distribution
  • Annually: Baseline and endline assessments, SEPEt assessment tools, FGDs (Focus Group Discussions)

Standardised tools include: lesson plans, child profiling sheets, RTE documentation trackers, assessment formats, attendance trackers, and workplan templates.
