We want a world that is kind to its children.
Sarthak Foundation started with the belief that no child should be left behind for being born in economic and social disadvantage. With a vision to have Happy Empowered Children, Sarthak Foundation reaches out to children to make them self-sustainable through education, socio-emotional strengthening and skills so that they are able to break out of abject poverty
We are registered as a society and have 80G and 12A certificates under the Income Tax Act that validate our status as a non-profit. We also have the FCRA certification that allows us to accept foreign donations from outside of India.

Impact Stories
“Sarthak is like family to me because I have learned so much from him, and I have gained a lot from our relationship. Sarthak has taught me to be self-reliant and has supported my family greatly. In my community, boys are often married off at the age of 15, but Sarthak gave me immense support. It spoke with my family and explained things to them, which helped a lot. Today, I am very happy in my life because of Sarthak. I have no words to express my gratitude because all the changes in my life are due to Sarthak. Thanks to Sarthak, I am able to pursue my education, understand my life better, and achieve many things. It helped me understand myself and develop my skills. Thank you so much, Sarthak family for making my life better.”

“My name is Ayushi Artist. I have completed 6 years at Sarthak. In my life, the word "artist" is an emotion that I discovered while being at Sarthak. Being at Sarthak, I have found my true self. Since childhood, I dreamed of having an office job and owning a scooter. Today, at the age of 18, I have fulfilled that childhood dream. I am currently pursuing my graduation in the field of Fine Arts. I am trying to gradually reduce the barriers against girls in my family. Today, I am independent and working hard to achieve my dreams. I am very pleased to have the Sarthak family. Grateful for all the things that Sarthak has given me.”

“For me, the Sarthak Foundation is like my family. They have taught me the real value of goals and dreams. At Sarthak, I have learned many things, such as gender equality and how to show gratitude for others and for nature. They have given me the best education and many opportunities that I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. The foundation has made me a better human being. I have many words to express my gratitude for Sarthak, but here is limited space. Thank you so much, Sarthak, for giving me the love and support of a family.”

“Sarthak is a safe place for me where I feel secure and happy. I am completing my 10th year at Sarthak. Before Sarthak, we didn't know the value of education. In my community, girls don't have the right to education or independent work. There are early marriages; girls get married at 14 to 15 years old and have babies by 16 to 17 years old. Because of Sarthak, I am now completing my graduation in B.Com, and I am working as a full-time employee in Sarthak. Now, I am supporting my family financially. Sarthak has shaped my life. Thank you so much, Sarthak family, for making me educated, independent, and capable of making my own decisions.”

“I joined Sarthak in 2014, unaware that my life was about to undergo a profound transformation. Sarthak has given me a new lease on life. With Sarthak's support, I gained the confidence to pursue my studies and achieved excellent results. I learned valuable lessons beyond academics, such as self-assurance, overcoming obstacles, and creating positive change in my life. Moreover, I've become empowered to make an impact on other girls' lives. Thanks to Sarthak, I've received quality education and learned about gender equality, breaking stereotypes, and compassionate animal care. I'm grateful for the opportunity to grow and make a difference.”

“My name is Shivam Responsible. It was only after joining Sarthak that I realized my true potential. Before joining Sarthak, I didn't understand the value of education or what studying really meant. I used to think that I would have to do the same work my father did. But now, after joining Sarthak, I have discovered that I can become a good social worker. Currently, I am also studying social work.”
