Sarthak Foundation is a not-for-profit registered society in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. In March 2013, we started our project working with children in slums. We are also 80G and 12A certified. In 2019, we received our FCRA certification. Currently there are 8 board members with us. We are a team of 25 full-time employees and around 50 volunteers and interns. We have an Advisory Board of 5 members rich in experience. We also have a Patron Group of 8 members who are actively involved with the working of the Foundation.

"By 2020, Sarthak wishes to educate 2000 children (especially girls) living in slums and villages who do not have access to education due to financial constraints."
We as a team strongly believe in every child's right to education and it is our duty to make the children empowered with this right. We want to reach out to the last child who does not go to school and has no environment of becoming a good human being.
I got in touch with Kshama last year after finding out what an incredible job her NGO Sarthak Foundation is doing at educating underprivileged children.
